Our company was founded in 2000. We have combined our extended knowledge in the field of state-of-the-art-technologies with an artistic and creative approach. Every product that we produce is unique because we collaborate with professionals of various fields whose individual experience and coordinated work allow us to create high quality design products.

Over time, the range of our services and customers has grown significantly. Dd studio started its activities as a multimedia development and digital design enterprise. Experience gained with specific projects has led us to understand that, in order to create a high quality product, an integrated approach is necessary. Within Dd studio projects, digital design is not separated from traditional design forms, research is carried out in compliance with media architecture development, and production is not isolated from the design and development process. Over the years, Dd studio has created a team that is capable of implementing such an integrated approach.

Products

The design products that we offer can be categorised in the following groups: permanent and temporary exhibitions, multimedia programs and games, interactive presentations and animations, graphic and environmental design. At the same time it must be noted that in practice it is difficult to separate types of products or services, since many projects require the combination of various design forms.

Story

Our experience shows that the success of a project depends on whether we succeed in creating a story within the product. The story must be contemporary, captivating and easily understood. Within a story, texts, images, sounds and animations are woven together and become meaningful. It is this ability to find the right story that helps us creating high quality design products.

International successes

By now we can claim international recognisability. We have created exhibitions displayed in Brussels, Stockholm, Oslo, Rome, London, Houston, etc., and we have developed permanent exhibitions for several museums in Azerbaijan, including the Petroglyph Museum of Gobustan that is located on a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Maiden Tower Museum in the Inner City of Baku that also is a UNESCO World Heritage Monument. In 2010, our multimedia program on the history of the Popular Front of Latvia was awarded the GRAND PRIX at the International Festival FIAMP 2009 (Festival International de l’Audiovisuel et du Multimedia sur le Patriomoine), and the Petroglyph Museum of Gobustan received a special prize at the EMYA 2013 (European Museum of the Year Award).
